Use Your Veteran’s Benefits to Pay for Flight Training
Are you a U.S. military veteran interested in training as a professional pilot? Did you know that the VA offers flight training benefits through both the Montgomery GI Bill® and the Post-9/11 GI Bill® programs? You can either access your veteran’s benefits directly, or as part of our Liberty University Flight Training Affiliate program.
Liberty University offers college credit for military training, military scholarships, and tuition assistance. Check here for more information. Liberty University is also a partner in the Yellow Ribbon program, which allows eligible students to continue their studies once their annual GI Bill® funding has been exceeded.
Your VA benefits will cover your instrument rating, commercial single engine license, multi-engine rating, and all of your instructor ratings. In certain programs you may also receive a housing allowance and a stipend for book and supplies. Check out the VA site for details.
